Description

Ashley Seth officially joined the New York office of Kaplan Fox as a law clerk in 2018. She works in the Private Client Services Group, focusing her practice in trusts and estates administration, estate planning and real estate.

Prior to joining the firm, Ashley worked for two years as a paralegal at a boutique law firm in White Plains, NY, specializing in Trusts & Estates, Real Estate, and Corporate Finance. It was while working there that she developed an interest for the law, and subsequently decided to begin her law school career.

While in law school, Ashley divided her time outside of the classroom between honing her skills and experience in Trusts & Estates and Real Estate and gaining additional experience in the public sector. In addition to spending her second and third year in law school working at Kaplan Fox as a law clerk, Ashley interned at the Bronx Defenders, representing low income families in child custody proceedings, and was a Research Assistant to Professor Marci. A. Hamilton, one of the country’s leading church-state scholars and CEO of CHILD USA. Ashley was also an active member of the Black Law Student Association, and the treasurer of the Public Interest Law Student Association.

Ashley Seth earned her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (2018) with a concentration in Tax, and earned her B.A., cum laude, from Iona College (2013). She is admitted to the Bars of the State of New York and State of Connecticut.
